6/20/2023 0 Comments Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas![]() She later meets up with Chaol, someone who I personally have grown to loathe, why? His attitude and character development in the series. In return for this lovely tad bit of information, Arbynn wants Aelin to bring him a Valg, a creature that was first introduced in Heir of Fire, but I was too lazy to add it into the review. Arobynn tells Aelin that her cousin Aedion is about the be executed for treason to the crown. ![]() She runs into her old mentor Arbynn who she despises, believe me! He is just an ass, and snake. We last saw Aelin heading back to her old life in Rifthold in order to find the third Wyrdkey. Plus, it gives readers a chance to read the novel without knowing everything that’s going on, also… I might have skipped through some scenes as I did not like scene jumps mid-sentence… If I don’t, this post will be close to 6000 words…. ![]() I have come to like Maas as an author, so I was super excited!īecause this novel is MASSIVE!!!! I will only be touching on Rowen and Aelin scenes, adding other characters here and there. ![]() I lucked out by getting a signed edition of this novel as well. I’m going to begin this review with praises! This must be my favourite novel in the series! The character development is phenomenal not to mention… the Aelin and Rowan scenes. The Celaena Sardothien/Aelin Galathynius saga continues…still… ![]()
